Your District Needs You!
One fundamental part of the ChOPP programme will be to understand and explore the needs and aspirations of older people throughout the area. This consultation and discussion will need to involve people from all areas of Chichester and the surrounding district.
For that reason, ChOPP is already in discussion with the local Senior Forum to discuss how it may take a role in informing the ChOPP project in their locality. It is understood, however, that the Senior Forum draws its members mainly from the Chichester city and therefore it is very much hoped that older people’s views from the rural districts can also be obtained.
If you are a local group which is already established and may be able to inform the ChOPP project, please contact us. Equally if, as an individual, you feel passionately that you would like to have your voice heard, we would welcome your input and it may be that further groups will be able to be established in the rural areas. It is only by combining our individual knowledge and experiences that we will be able to fully support and implement the aims of this project.
