The Older People’s Information Centre (TOPIC)
A new mobile information service for older people, and the groups that support them, has been established through partnership working across five statutory and voluntary services in the Chichester District.
Following on from a successful three month pilot project in East Wittering, the service will be rolled out across rural communities in the coming months. Advice and signposting support will be available from West Sussex Fire and Rescue, Chichester District Older People’s Partnership (ChOPP), the Pensions, Disability and Carers Service (DWP), Chichester Community Partnership Team and Action in Rural Sussex.
The Older People’s Information Centre (TOPIC) will be visiting the following rural communities in the coming
months on:
- Thurday 15th July at Kirdford Village Hall from 10am - 12 noon
- Friday 30th July at Southbourne and District Age Concern, New Road, Southbourne from 11am - 2pm
- Wednesday 8th September at Hampers Green Community Centre from 11am - 2pm
